Welcome to my Blog!

Janmarc started taking pictures about nine years ago when he picked up a Canon IX. It started out as hobby, and he took lots pictures of family and friends. He has a special sense of capturing the true feelings and emotions that people share with each other... naturally, shooting weddings was the perfect stage to display his creativity. Janmarc does not usually refer to himself in third person but he had such a hard time writing about himself that I, his cousin, had to write this for him :) Thank you for taking the time to read this now go enjoy the photos on the blog!!!

Rachel and Mark’s Engagment At Redondo Beach

This past Sunday my family headed out to Redondo Pier for my daughter Rachel’s surprise engagment proposal. We found a nice place at the Veteran’s Park not too far from the pier. Many people were out to the beach that day, a typical California summer were people come out to cool off during those hot summer days. Her fiancé Mark made a mary me sign as part of his surprise proposal, which we thought was nice. Good job Mark. I took a quick stroll around the pier to take some photos of the scenery and people there before leaving.

:: Oceana Dunes ::

I went with friends to Oceana Dunes in San Luis Obispo last week, and had a great time visiting this place. I have never been here before and I was really excited to see this beautiful part of California. There is a park not too far from here where thousands of Monarch butterflies migrate from October to February every year, I would like to see that one day. Here are some photos that I was able to capture from the trip.

:: Los Angeles Arboretum ::

So I went to the L.A. Arboretum this week, I have not been here in quite a while. I wanted to get some shooting time for my self and at the same time enjoy the scenery. I wish could have stayed longer as the sun was getting softer as the day progresses, unfortunately the Arboretum is only open till 5pm. Maybe I can come back later in the year when the sun sets earlier. I wish I had my neutral density filter with me. I could have pushed the exposure time a little longer, however I was still happy with this capture 🙂this plant’s flowers reminds me of little light bulbs.I had the opportunity to take a picture when this guy fanned out it’s feathers just when I was leaving.

Meet Collete, she is Andre and Rita’s third child and very cute. I’m very privileged to photograph their growing family. Time sure flies by it seems like it was not long ago when I took photos of just them two. I will always be thankful that you have given me the opportunity from the start.
